The rocks are visible in the shallow waters along the coastal shores of a small cove at Matai Bay on the Karikari Peninsula on the North Island of New Zealand, while Pohutukawa Trees blossom into red clusters. From November to January each year, these trees which are native to New Zealand adorn the coastal shores and survive some of the toughest climates due to the strength of them.
