The meals at the Norseman Restaurant and Gaia Art Gallery at L'Anse aux Meadows are some of the finest that you will have while visiting Newfoundland, Canada. Originally the Norseman Restaurant was meant to be a bed and breakfast but the building was not large enough to hold the amount of tourists that came to Newfoundland Labrador.The owner decided to try the food business and opened this small restaurant and art gallery in 1994. By 1998, her husband joined forces with her and the restaurant was expanded and is now recognized as one of the best throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.On cold nights, a fire burns to keep visitors warm and partake in some excellent seafood, wild game or other specialties that may be on the menu.
