The Pacific white-sided dolphin is an ocean dwelling animal found in the waters around Northern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
On the northern end of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada there is one specific type of ocean animal known as the Pacific white-sided dolphin. Dolphins swim just below the surface when riding in the wake of ocean boats.
The Pacific white-sided dolphin is a wild ocean animal but is extremely curious about boaters and tends to be very friendly and lively. If one of these ocean animals approaches your boat you can get a close look at their markings and see how cute they really are. You have to be quick with your camera as Pacific white-sided dolphins are extremely fast.
Whale watching trips run from mid-June to October around Northern Vancouver Island in British Columbia if you want to get a chance of encountering this type of ocean animal.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/4.5, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 200, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 16mm.
