Zaragoza is located on the river Ebro in Aragon, Spain in a great valley where the landscape consists of desert land to thick forests, meadows and mountains. Zaragoza, Spain has the ideal growing conditions for olive trees and wheat fields.The cultivation of olive trees began some 6000 years ago and continued in an upward motion until the fall of the Roman Empire. This led to the decline of olive production in Europe except for Spain which saw an increase in cultivation.
