One Oriental Small Clawed Otter decides to enjoy his meal at the Auckland Zoo in New Zealand, while the other resident tries to move in for a taste. This couple lives very nicely together in their habitat where they swim in the water using their tail and webbed feet which makes them very strong swimmers.
The Oriental Small Clawed Otter feeds mainly on fish, eels and shellfish and the keepers at the zoo will sometimes hide their food in the logs or let live eels go in their habitat so the otters can track them down themselves. This couple is not the only ones who reside here as there are other female otters who make up the group at the Auckland Zoo.
