The Palac Adria in Prague in the Czech Republic was originally built in 1923 and 1924 for a major insurance company. The Palac Adria sits on the corner of Narodni trida and Jungmannova ulice which is a famous corner in Prague with a passage inside that connects the two streets. Two talented architects decided that the rondo-cubist style would be best suited for the facade of this building but new ideas for the tower and designs came to them as they went along. There are three underground levels and eight above ground with wings that separate them.A major reconstruction was done in 1996 and 1997 and in the Palac Adria you will find apartments, office and commercial areas, a theatre club, a gallery and a restaurant. It is a magnificent piece of history that is secured daily by modern security systems and nightly guards. The people that live at the Palac Adria in downtown Prague feel very safe and secure in this building due to the security as there are always people visiting the building. ... continue below the picture...
