Yet another exquisite example of the fine architecture of La Alhambra complex situated in the city of Granada, Andalusia, Spain.
The Palacio del Partal is a another palace in the grounds of La Alhambra and is the oldest building in the complex. The pavilion with the arched portico and the Tower of the Ladies is all that remains of this palace which was possibly built between 1302-1309.
Five arches overlook the pool, a central feature to the gardens which belong to the Palacio del Partal. Originally this palace was separate from La Alhambra but in the late 19th century when the palace was sold to the state it also became part of La Alhambra and has been restored to its former glory and now offers a superb view over the city of Granada ... continue below the picture...

The wooden ceiling which is located inside the Tower of the Ladies had been dismantled by the previous owner and only turned up in Berlin in the early 20th century.
