The Dominican Republic is a well known vacation spot in the Caribbean. Unfortunately I only had a very few days to really discover the beauty of the nature, mountains and beaches the Dominican Republic has to offer. I was on a assignment for a large german travel wholesaler and all I was supposed to photograph were the big resorts which are spread all over the island. It was one of those go, go, go contracts on which you photograph all day and travel to the next resort at night.
One evening I was able to finish earlier plus I had to wait for the car which was bringing me into the next vacation resort. So I took the time to find myself a beautiful beach with nobody around. It was gorgeous sitting here and to enjoy the sunset. Well, actually I wasn't sitting to much as I was capturing this classic sunset, beach, palm tree scene. ... continue below the picture...
