Stock photo of a penguin species found in the South Island of New Zealand. The Yellow Eyed Penguin is the rarest of all penguin species of the world and is found only in southern New Zealand, as well as Auckland and Campbell Islands. This cute penguin seemed to be checking out his foot prints in the sand as he made his way up beach. These penguins and any penguin species are relatively difficult to photograph, in that they are very wary of predators and unknown objects on the beach.
