Fine threads of clouds are barely visible as they scatter themselves across the Quebec sky above Perce Rock at the tip of the Gaspesie Peninsula at sunset. Beyond Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island the horizon has a line of pink hues across the surface of the water with brighter yellowish orange colours moving upward until they darken at the onset of the clouds.The glow from the soft colours created from the sunset transmits an incredible shimmering light which in turn reflects off the surface of the water. The waters are unbelievably calm so the sunset lights up the area around the Gaspesie Peninsula for miles.In the midst of this stunning sunset stands Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island, two of Quebec's important natural attractions.
