Point Pelee National Park in Ontario, Canada is situated about 30 miles south-east of Windsor and is one of the smallest national parks in Canada. As small as Point Pelee is, there are still about 300,000 visitors that come to this green oasis every year.Extended across the marshlands of Point Pelee there is a long walkway known as the Marsh Boardwalk where you can view the unique plants and vegetation as well as the wildlife around this area.Take a canoe trip through the marsh and enjoy a day of birdwatching as you leisurely paddle through Point Pelee. At the beginning of the Marsh Boardwalk there is a cafe where you will find canoes available to rent for the day.Point Pelee is one of the most significant conservation areas in Canada and is a paradise for hundreds of different species of birds.
