An unusual type of road barricade is this Polar Bear who sits on the road blocking the way for any of the tourists who have come to bear watch near the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba. The driver of the truck, captures some close up pictures of this Polar Bear, but getting out of the vehicle is not a wise idea.
These visitors are thrilled with the close encounter they are experiencing, but they will remain here until the Polar Bear decides he is ready to move on across the tundra. The Polar Bear does not seem too distracted by the vehicles and sits peacefully on the ice covering the roadside.
