A cute picture captured of this Polar Bear as he appears to be kneeling on the snow covered tundra in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area near the Hudson Bay in Manitoba, Canada. With his front legs extended outwards holding up his massive body, the back legs are curled underneath him in a kneeling position.
Winter has just begun to arrive near the Hudson Bay as the tundra has a thin layer of snow adorning it and the Polar Bear still seems very lazy and restful. As the region around the Churchill Wildlife Management Area becomes colder and freezes over, the Polar Bear will not be seen kneeling around as much as his main objective will be to find some good meals of ringed seals.
Polar Bear, Ursus maritimus, in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area, Hudson Bay, Churchill, Manitoba, Canada.
