The noise above is something the Polar Bear needs to investigate while walking across the snow covered tundra near the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba. The arrival of winter is something the Polar Bears have patiently been waiting for and once the Hudson Bay becomes frozen, each Polar Bear will find its way to the real food.
The spindly trees are still clear of any snow and even the rocks have not been totally hidden by the snow. The climate is changing and the winter weather a Polar Bear awaits is not far off. The region around the Hudson Bay in Churchill, Manitoba can quickly change overnight bringing in temperatures which drop well below zero.
