At the bottom of the massive rock formations known as the Mallos de Riglos at the base of the Pyrenees mountain range in Huesca, Aragon in Spain, a quaint little village named Aguero is situated. The village is very small and tourists that pass through Aguero come this way to explore the Mallos de Riglos or spend the day practicing their mountain climbing skills.As you stand in the village of Aguero and look up at the Mallos de Riglos, the massive rock towers above you as it reaches heights of approximately 980 feet. The village itself looks miniature compared to the red rock crag as it nestles in amongst the lush green landscape.Not only does the rock wall prevent the village of Aguero from any winds that may pass through Aragon, but you can watch vultures soar above the peaks of the Mallos de Riglos. This area of Aragon is extremely pretty as wide open spaces separate each village and with a minimal amount of human presence, you can explore the countryside on foot and see a vast amount of wildlife. ... continue below the picture...
