The raging Chippewa River has overpowered the beauty of the Chippewa Falls in Ontario, Canada after a powerful Autumn thunder storm passed through the region. Massive amounts of water rush over the large boulders and the height of the Chippewa River has raised considerably after torrential rains hit Ontario, Canada.
As you stand near the Chippewa River when it is raging like this, there is an incredible thundering sound under the water that is amazing to listen to. The river rapidly races past the boulders and the force of the water finds flipping or rearranging rocks and massive boulders an easy feat.
Trees adorn the banks of the Chippewa River in Ontario, Canada and when summer leaves and fall sweeps in, the colours of the trees are stunning. When the river calms down and returns to normal levels the Chippewa Falls are magnificent to see. The falls cascade over ledges of about twenty meters creating several sets of waterfalls that groove in amongst the crevasses in the rocks. The town of Chippewa Falls is a unique place to explore for a couple of days and the river and waterfalls are an incredible part of the scenery especially in Autumn.
