Whether traveling by railway or other means through the city of Dunedin in Otago, New Zealand, the railway station is a historic landmark to explore. The architectural design of the station is first rate and it is on the list as being one of the top 200 attractions to see throughout the world.The flower beds in the front of the railway station are beautiful in the spring as radiant colors of flowers blossom. The gardens are kept trimmed regularly so that the maze amid the flower garden never becomes overgrown.It was not until 1906 that the Dunedin Railway Station in Otago, New Zealand was open to the public and travel became a lot quicker and easier. After many years of use, in 1996, the railway station was due for a major overhaul and brought back up to its original look. The exterior was cleaned thoroughly and replacement of worn stones were matched to the stonework and replaced so that station looked like new again. ... continue below the picture...
