The cool, refreshing water flowing over boulders at the Merriman Falls during an icy autumn morning. The waterfall is situated near Quinault Lake in the Olympic National Park on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington, USA. Mostly made up of large areas of lush rainforest, autumn turns the region into a palette of browns and oranges, as large leaf trees drop their leaves and are reduced to branches.
