I photographed this panorama photo of a small waterfall surrounded by lush green moss with a very long exposure time in the rainforest of the Haida Gwaii Islands on the North coast of British Columbia, Canada.
My idea was to make the water super soft looking so the "flowing water" effect would come at its most. I knew that I would loose the detail in the water but I decided that the super soft look would be more important to this particular panorama photo, especially because the water part is fairly small over the whole picture.
Taken was this photo in mid spring, most likely the best time to get the lushes green plus there is more water in the streams in that early season.
This panorama photo is one of my favorite panoramas for the topic "water". Photographed with my Fuji 617 on Fuji Velvia film, now I scanned the image with my Hasselblad X5 (Imacon) scanner.
