A biomass of rainforest plants in a New Zealand National Park. There is an extensive network of hiking trails throughout the Fiordland National Park. These paths have many varieties of fauna and flora and some are self guided with interpretive signs. The lush green colour of these rainforest plants shows the amount of rain this area receives. Rainforest Plants thrive on plenty of moisture.
A rainforest is an extremely important environment in the world, with many oxygen producing plants, which is why environmentalists lobby against logging natural forests, in the hope to save the rainforest plants.
