Nestled in the rainforest this waterfall cascades down the edge of the rocks and moss and hits the pool at the bottom in this picture taken on Northern Vancouver Island near Port Alice, British Columbia, Canada. It would not be uncommon when taking a walk through this terrain on Vancouver Island to come across a beautiful waterfall such as this one, but it will always take your breath away a little bit when you do.
This waterfall does not have a name like some waterfalls in the area or on Vancouver Island. However tourists can name any falls whatever they want to remind them of where they are and what they have seen. Port Alice describes itself as 'the gateway to the West Coast' and although it is a fairly small town, it is close to mountains, lakes and the rainforest so its people are active and nature lovers. They are surrounded by natural beauty and a waterfall like this one is just a small part of it.
