There are never enough words to describe the beauty of a rainforest especially this one around Rennell Sound on Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada. To reach this rainforest you must travel along an unpaved road known as Skidegate Main Line Forest Road.The road separates along the shores of Rennell Sound and a walk through the rainforest leads to the different beach accesses. You can drive down a steep incline passing by the beautiful moss covered trees of the rainforest but this is not a recommended route for campers and trailers.Hiking trails are the ideal way to explore the rainforest on Graham Island where you will find a peacefulness like no other. Wander the trail for about two hours and take in the flora and fauna of the Rennell Sound rainforest which is part of British Columbia's finest.Campgrounds are not far from Rennell Sound on Graham Island and at night you will find the silence and darkness of the rainforest to be somewhat of an eerie feeling if you are used to the fast paced city life. ... continue below the picture...
