Hamman, Arab thermal baths,(Banos Arabes) were popular for centuries during Roman times as shown by the many ruins all over Europe.
The romantic City of Sevilla in Spain, was no exception, but, for some reason, by the 17th century the baths had vanished. Luckily, for the people of Seville and visitors to the city, the Aire de Sevilla in the historic Santa Cruz neighbourhood, has restored the luxurious baths in a 16th century palace built by an Indian Viceroy.
The restful Bath experience takes about an hour and a half, ending with a massage and tea. There are three bath rooms, each designed to evoke different sensations and moods from the guests.
