The popular Italian resort town of Riva del Garda is situated on the shores of the Lake Garda in the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. The town has a pretty waterfront and harbour.
This tiny resort town is bordered by Lake Garda (Lago di Garda) the largest Italian lake, Mount Baldo (2218 metres), and Mount Rocchetta (1575 metres).
As well as being a major resort tourist town for leisure seekers and sightseeing, Riva del Garda is also a popular destination for windsurfing. The narrow northern end of Lake Garda channels the winds along the valley creating ideal conditions for windsurfing and sailing.
