As you drive through Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier in Quebec, Canada this tranquil road runs alongside the Jacques-Cartier River and is stunning in the Fall season. Leaves that have already fallen from the changing trees are dispersed across the road and will continue to build up along the edges as winter gets closer. If you trek to the river's banks you can watch some of these leaves make their way downstream depending on whether the river is running at a gentle pace or moving swiftly.
These trees flourish during the spring and summer and each year they get taller and tower above the road in Parc de la Jacques-Cartier. As Autumn gets underway and you drive through the Provincial Park, amazing colours on either side of the road adorn the park as leaves gently flutter to the ground below.
