With the sun filtering through the tall trees surrounding Virgin Falls, a couple take a moment to sit on a log and enjoy the scenery nature has created around the waterfall on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Although the journey to the waterfall is along the a rugged gravel road, the reward of seeing the Virgin Falls, a hidden gem, is well worth the effort. Surrounded by tall trees, Virgin Falls descend over a rugged rock escarpment in a fan formation into a crystal clear pool at its base. Situated in a very remote location, this is a very romantic waterfall set amongst the beautiful scenery of Vancouver Island.
