As the Cardrona River gently flows along the Crown Range Road in Central Otago on the South Island of New Zealand, beautiful wildflowers known as Russell Lupins brighten the area with their array of colour during the summer.
Across the South Island of New Zealand, especially near a river or lake, the Russell Lupins bloom in pinks, purples and white colors, reaching heights of up to 1.5 meters, making it very hard for them to be overlooked.Lupins growing wild on the banks of the Cardrona River along the Crown Range Road, Central Otago, South Island, New Zealand.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/10.0, exposure time of 1/30 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 57mm.
