The sparkling waters of Nootka Sound, on the West Coast of Vancouver Island are a sailing paradise!
Nootka Sound is dotted with islands, encompass the Bligh Island Provincial Marine Park, and fringed by First Nations communities.
Wildlife inside the Sound include sea otters, an abundance of starfish, and land dwelling animals such as Black Bears, deer, cougars and much more. Fishing in Nootka Sound is some of the best in BC with plentiful salmon, halibut, rockfish and snapper.
Sailing around the many coves and inlets of Nookta Sound is a rewarding experience.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/5.6, exposure time of 1/250 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 28mm.
