Saint Katherine's Church, located in the city centre of Frankfurt, Germany was built during the three years between 1678 and 1681. The original church on this site, dating back to 1343, was where the first Protestant sermon was heard in Frankfurt in the year 1522.
St. Katherine's Church or Katharinenkirche, is the largest Lutheran (Evangelical), and first independent Protestant Church to be founded in Frankfurt, Germany.
