In the downtown area of San Francisco in California, USA you will find a city full of history and class amongst the buildings. Some of the buildings that line the streets are very unique and the architecture that adorns them stands out significantly amongst some of the newer buildings.A prime example of how much history surrounds them can be seen in the window features and the architectural style of the buildings. Some of the older hotels are very unique on the interior with decor that is not found in any other city.After a massive earthquake that hit the city of San Francisco in 1906 and then again in 1989, some of the older buildings were destroyed while others just retained minor structural damage.
