The black bitumen of this desert road with its bright yellow centre line is super heated under the blazing sun, shining down from a bright blue sky with occasional puffy clouds.
The Black Mountains, to where this scenic desert road leads, is the location of the spectacular Artists Palette and they also fringe Badwater Basin, two impressive stops during a visit in Death Valley National Park.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III, aperture of f/32.0, exposure time of 1/6 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 110mm.
