The Shasta Daisy is one of the favorite flowers amongst gardeners as they are very easy to grow and the colors are very distinctive as they blossom into a display of white and yellow colors. A very commonly grown herbaceous perennial plant that is extremely close in appearance to the common daisy but somewhat larger.
Each of the flowers that blossoms grows on its own separate stem and can reach heights of anywhere between one foot to three feet. The head of the Shasta Daisy is a fair bit larger than the classic daisies and their favorite time to bloom is in the summer months.
They prefer soil that is well-drained and love to bask in the full sunshine but thrive to their fullest with a small amount of morning shade until the sun reaches its peak.
