The ski area of Pas de la Casa in the tiny principality of Andorra is situated along a Pyrenees mountain pass on the border with France. Andorra is a tiny landlocked principality, only 468 square kilometers in size with a population of a little over 80,000, surrounded by France and Spain.The Pas de la Casa ski area in recent years linked with another ski mountain, Soldeu via Grau Roig, making it the largest ski area in Andorra and although the territory is not all appropriate for skiing, it covers around 45 square kilometers (almost 10% of Andorra}.Pas de la Casa in Andorra, translates to 'pass of the house' and this pass is one of the highest of the roads of Europe at 2408 meters, it is also the watershed for the Pyrenees mountains.
