A tower that stands over 1,000 feet high is located in Auckland, New Zealand and known as the Sky Tower. It is the tallest tower in the Southern Hemisphere and looking straight up from the ground can give one a strange sensation.Going to the top of the Sky Tower and looking down is a totally different feeling than being on the ground and looking up. You can see the surrounding area of Auckland for eighty kilometers in any direction.
The upper level of the Sky Tower has a revolving restaurant and the level below has a cafe as well as two observation decks. Parts of the floor on the observation decks are glass panels which lets you view Auckland from a different angle.
For those who like the feeling of the adrenaline rush, you can try the Skyjump which is a "fan descender jump" of about 192 meters. The speed of the drop can reach up to eighty-five kilometers an hour and is a thrill of a lifetime. ... continue below the picture...
