Kluane National Park in the Yukon Territory is a fascinating place to visit located in the southwestern corner of the Yukon between northeastern British Columbia and the Alaskan panhandle. The landscape is a mass of mountain peaks and ice, some of them being the tallest in North America where the largest icefields are found.During the summer months, the mountain peaks remain covered in snow, but some of the jagged rocks are able to catch a glimpse of the warm rays of sun. Kluane National Park has an abundance of wildlife roaming these mountain peaks, some which include grizzlies, eagles, dall sheep, moose, lynx and wolves, but many of these animals prefer to stay farther down in the greenbelt region where food is plentiful.Kluane National Park, Yukon Territory, Canada, North America.
