A fence encompasses an area where a crucifix is set back against the rock cliffs in the Wildgerlos Valley in Salzburger Land in Austria, Europe. The snow has almost reached the top of the fence posts and mounds of snow continually build up during the winter months. The crucifix is set far enough back that the snow collects around the base of the display and never seems to fully block out this religious icon. To reach this area during the winter months in Wildgerlos Valley, one must be prepared to hike through feet of snow. There is an indentation in the snow where visitors have trekked before which will soon be covered by a fresh snowfall.Fence surrounded by snow and a crucifix in the Wildgerlostal (Wildgerlos Valley), Salzburger Land, Austria, Europe.
