A great way to explore the winter backcountry is snowshoeing. Strap on a comfortable fitting pair of snowshoes and head out into the wilderness. Basically if you like to hike then you will also like to snowshoe. Alaska is known as the last frontier, and offers the adventure traveler endless scope for exploraton and snowshoeing makes it very accessible. It is best to pack your own pair of snowshoes when traveling to Alaska.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/9.0, exposure time of 1999999/10 sec. on ISO 50, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 21mm.
