Spain and Italy are the leading suppliers throughout the world and Spain is the first producer in the world of the healthiest fat oil.Olive trees are native to regions of Spain and grow to approximately 25 feet in height and produce small white scented flowers that develop into green fruits which eventually turn a black color when fully ripe. Olive trees must have a sunny and dry growing season with well-drained soil to be able to flourish to their fullest.
