Outside of Stephansdom Cathedral in downtown Vienna, Austria stands a miniature replica of the historic landmark. This copper replica is only about about 1.5 meters tall but it is an incredible piece of work where you can view Stephansdom Cathedral on a smaller scale and get the whole cathedral in one photograph.The full scaled cathedral was originally built in 1147 but in 1359 a massive reconstruction of Stephansdom was underway and was never completed until 1433. Two of the most important features of this Gothic style Cathedral is the gigantic tiled roof and the tall tower which stands at 445 feet high.The interior of Stephansdom Cathedral has many pieces of treasured art. Some of them include the altars, the pulpit, the bells, the chapels and the long, strenuous climb up the solid stone staircase to the top of the tower which is only recommended for those in good physical shape.
