The bright evening sun peeks through the clouds and glints off the shiny sand at low tide along the beach at Cox Bay near Tofino as sunset nears. Winter heralds the arrival of stormy weather along the coastal shores of the West Coast of Vancouver Island as large waves roll in off the Pacific Ocean.
This is storm watching territory and the beaches of the Pacific Rim National Park and those near Tofino offer a great platform to watch as the stormy Pacific Ocean waves crash along the shores. An added delight is watching the show while sunset heralds the end of another winter day.
