A landscape made up of precambrian granite and depressions filled with water to create small lakes and bogs, Southern Labrador in Canada is a geologists treasure trove.
Travelling along Highway 510, the main coastal drive in Southern Labrador, visitors get a glimpse of the landscape which seems to spread out as far as the eye can see. Rivers, rocks, lakes and bogs are common sight but on closer inspection, there's an abundance of fascinating plant life that thrives in this landscape and in some cases these species can only be found in this one place in the world.
As day gives way to night at sunset, the scenery of this Southern Labrador landscape is further enhanced by the beautiful light which reflects on the surface of a lake.
