During snow storms the only way through the Furka Pass in Switzerland is by vehicle train.
Travelling in Switzerland can be fairly lengthy at times and shortcuts through mountainous areas are not an option especially in the winter months. Passes can be closed completely in the winter and this is where the vehicle train becomes a necessity for people.Not only are the winter driving conditions an issue but some of the roads are very narrow with extremely sharp curves along deep ravines and a lot of people enjoy the ease of the vehicle train.Taking the vehicle train through Switzerland can make your journey a fair bit more expensive but it spares you the stress of trying to drive over snow covered passes. I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, aperture of f/4.5, exposure time of 1/80 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 24mm.
