This viewing area rests upon rock ledges that hang over a steep drop to the canyon below.The Needles in Canyon Rim Recreational Area is a landscape that features canyons, cliffs and red rock formations of flat topped hills with steep sides. From this location you can also enjoy some partial views of the Colorado River in Utah, USA.To get to the Needles Overlook, you must take the road that veers off highway US 191 and then follow it for about twenty-one miles to this fascinating rim.
