Tinsel the Clown is a very popular face that kids and adults look for when visiting the Saturday Markets in downtown Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Tinsel the Clown resides near Fredericton, New Brunswick but will go anywhere within the province to please customers.When people refer to clowns as being travelers, Tinsel the Clown is one that has been to many countries and provinces. Back in 1975, Tinsel the Clown was created in Prince Edward Island and stayed there until 1977 when he decided to move to Germany. Here he went from country to country performing and keeping people smiling for the next four years until he decided to return to Canada.New Brunswick became Tinsel's new home in 1983 and for three years he clowned around and took some schooling for balloon making and once again, moved on and ended up in Quebec City in 1987. Tinsel the Clown thought returning to Germany would be a good idea, so in 1989 he picked up and moved and toured through a list of countries again. ... continue below the picture...

After some time, he returned to Halifax, Nova Scotia until 1995, when New Brunswick become Tinsel's new home for a second time and this is where he settled down with his family and he can be seen at the Saturdays Market in Fredericton quiet regularly. Tinsel the Clown still travels and performs but tends to stay a little closer to home.
