There are many attractions in the city of Granada that make it a world class travel destination. The famous Alhambra is one such attraction which sits overlooking the historic old moorish quarter of Albaicin. The Alhambra and the nearby Generalife are designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The scenery of Granada includes the towering peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range which backdrop the city, beautiful green spaces, plazas, and of course the stunning moorish architecture. All in all, Granada is a "must see" destination and should be included in any travel plans to the region of Andalusia, Spain.
