The ancient Mono Lake with interesting rock formations called Tufa Towers is situated in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, California. Mono Lake is the site of the Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve. The Tufa Towers dotted around Mono Lake are made up of limestone deposits. The lake provides important habitat for several species of birds both resident and migratory. The Tufa Towers of Mono Lake provide interesting subjects for photography.

I photographed this photo with the digital SLR camera model Canon EOS-1DS, aperture of f/13.0, exposure time of 1/30 sec. on ISO 100, as always I used a original Canon Lens, the focus lenght for this picture was 310mm.
