Boasting a population of 5000, the town of Twillingate is known as the Iceberg Capital of the World and is situated in Newfoundland, Canada. The town of Twillingate is located at the mouth of the Exploits River which provides easy access to the nearby fishing grounds. Tourism is a more prominent industry for Twillingate now than fishing is. Twillingate is also part of an area known as the Kittiwake Coast in Newfoundland, Canada.
