Valencia, Spain has the honor of hosting the 32nd America's Cup where the two week event is filled with amazing yachts, races, stories, excitement and class. The America's Cup is famous for the sport of sailing and attracts the world's top sailors and yacht designers as it is known as the "Holy Grail" of yachting. Preparation for the America's Cup holds the interest of the public by presenting many different series in the previous years which build up to the main event to be held in 2007. The onset of the Americas Cup in 2007 will begin with the challenger series in Valencia, Spain and then the main event will begin on June 23 in Valencia, Spain as well.With the Americas Cup being held in Valencia, Spain the tourism of this city will skyrocket and some very world renowned people will also be visiting.
