The Iglesia de San Miguel is a Romanesque style Vielha church. Vielha is in the Val d'Aran and situated amid the Pyrenees mountains, some of them over 2000 meters high. The 12th century Church of St Michael has preserved some of the Roman beginning, but in the 18th century and into the 19th century significant renovations were done to the old church in Vielha, Spain.Iglesia de San Miguel can be found on the town square in the old section of Vielha, Catalonia. The Tourist Bureau is housed across the square from this Vielha church, so tourists in need of accommodation can get brochures and suggestions for hotels and upcoming activities.St Michael's church has a square clock tower, a lovely early 18th century Baroque altar and three floors. On one you will find statues of the patron saint killing a fierce dragon.
