... Nature works in many ways, as when volcanic explosions occur, the landscape is usually wiped clean of any wildflowers or plant life. It takes many years for the vegetation to break through the new landscape, but once they do, Spring is beautiful around Mt. Ruapehu on the North Island of New Zealand.
When touring around Mt Ruapehu, be sure to stop and examine each of the wildflowers as tourists are amazed at the stunning colors they produce. Be sure to have your camera ready especially when all the wildflowers are in full bloom.
